Rios's Chatsworth arraignment is postponed a third time. A medical delay is not a plea.

In Los Angeles County case 26SFCF01880, Rios is charged with two murder counts, a felony drug-DUI injury count, and reckless driving, and bail is about $4.1 million. Monday's date was missed again for medical reasons, the counts are accusations only, and the helicopter file is separate.

Two murder captions, a felony drug-DUI injury count, and a misdemeanor reckless-driving count against Bailee Lynn Rios are accusations, not a conviction. A third arraignment postponement for medical reasons is process, not a plea, and it does not prove impairment or how the Expedition was driven. Wrong-way, speed, and toxicology claims stay allegations while a chemical evaluation is still underway. A prosecutor's statement that conviction as charged would mean life with the possibility of parole is exposure on a charging document, not a sentence.

Bailee Lynn Rios, also reported as Bailee Rios and Bailey Lynn Rios, 36, of Simi Valley, is the defendant in Los Angeles County case 26SFCF01880. The District Attorney's Office has reported her date of birth as March 30, 1990. ABC7 Los Angeles and FOX 11 Los Angeles report the murder counts as second-degree. The incident alleged is about 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026, at Nordhoff Street and De Soto Avenue in Chatsworth: a 2004 Ford Expedition, alleged to have been traveling the wrong way at high speed, ran a red light into a Metro Line 166 bus. Gage Weida, 31, and Daniel Castillo, 46, were killed. At least five people were injured. Wrong-way travel, speed, and the red light are allegations. They are not findings. Bail in the case has been reported at about $4.1 million.

On toxicology, the District Attorney has said drugs were in her system and narcotics were in the car, described as hard drugs, with a full chemical evaluation still underway. FOX 11, citing law-enforcement sources, reported suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia in a purse. Those are source-level claims. They are not a finished lab result, and they are not proof of the DUI or murder elements. Arraignment has been postponed repeatedly for medical reasons. FOX 11 reported Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, that this was the third postponement. On the prior Friday, as reported, she was wheeled in on a gurney and was not conscious enough to enter a plea. A gurney and a missed plea date are medical process. They do not establish guilt, and they are not a court finding that she is incompetent.

A separate NBC4 helicopter crash, while crews covered the scene, is under an NTSB and federal investigation. The District Attorney has said additional charges may be considered only after that investigation. Those deaths are not on this complaint unless a prosecutor later files them. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.

WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

High Point police charged Kymberli Bowden with first-degree murder in her 13-year-old daughter's death.

The Oct. 8 release is a new murder count on a case the department charged in 2025 as felony child abuse and concealment of death. It is not a trial. The murder-charge release says she remains in jail with no bond. WXII reported a violent-offense hold and a $1 million bond on the older counts. The 2025 release listed her age as 44. The murder-charge release, WXII, and FOX 35 Orlando list 45.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.

A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
