A video of a Taser and a jail booking are the start of a use-of-force story and a criminal file. They are not a finding that Beard evaded detention or that his security guard interfered with an officer. TMZ reported that Beard was booked Sunday in Brazos County on evading arrest or detention after College Station officers tried to clear a roadway in front of a bar. FOX 26 Houston and KBTX reported a $7,000 bond and a separate interference charge against Kenny Carter, 29. Police descriptions of a less-lethal tool, and TMZ's report that video showed a Taser, are allegations and footage. They are not elements the State has proved.

TMZ reported that Benius Beard, who streams as BenDaDonnn, was booked into the Brazos County Jail on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, on a charge of evading arrest or detention. FOX 26 Houston identified him as 34-year-old Benjamin Beard and said College Station police records show he was charged Sunday with evading arrest, with bond set at $7,000. KBTX identified him as Benjamin Benius Beard, 34, of Miami, and reported he was booked into the Brazos County Detention Center on an evading-arrest charge with the same bond. KBTX said the arrest followed Saturday's Texas A&M football game at Northgate.

College Station police told the outlets they were clearing patrons from the roadway in front of a bar when a group refused commands. TMZ, citing police, reported that a man acting as Beard's security guard allegedly slapped an officer's hands away as officers tried to detain Beard, that a department spokesperson said an officer then used a Taser as Beard tried to get away, and that video showed the Taser before he was handcuffed. KBTX quoted police saying an officer deployed a less-lethal tool to gain compliance as Beard attempted to get away. FOX 26 Houston reported that police described a less-lethal tool and did not name it, and that police said the second man then pushed the officer to the ground. Those are police allegations and, where noted, a description of video. They are not a court finding.

The second man is Kenny Carter, 29, of Lithonia, Georgia, KBTX reported. FOX 26 and KBTX reported he was charged with interference with public duties and that his bond was set at $4,000. TMZ reported police said he claimed to be Beard's security guard. FOX 26 reported that police said they found a gun on Carter. A gun found during an arrest is a police statement about what officers say they recovered. It is not, in these accounts, a separate conviction, and the outlets did not describe a weapons charge. Beard and Carter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
