A warrant says Braveone Jones fired on two men. The raid was at Trippie Redd's house.

TMZ reported Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, that an arrest warrant says Braveone Jones, also known as BalloutDaDon, opened fire on two men during a fight at Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami on Sept. 15. The same outlet reported Miami police arrested him Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Trippie Redd's Southwest Ranches house on two attempted second-degree murder counts. TMZ did not report a charge against Trippie Redd.

An arrest warrant is the police narrative a judge signed so officers could take someone into custody. It is not a trial transcript. TMZ reported Friday that the warrant in Braveone Jones's case says he opened fire on two men during a fight at a Miami restaurant on Sept. 15, and that the same document describes Trippie Redd in that fight. Jones is the person booked on two attempted-murder counts. TMZ did not report a charge against Trippie Redd.

TMZ reported Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2026, that Miami police arrested 25-year-old Braveone Jones at Trippie Redd's mansion in Southwest Ranches during a raid on Tuesday. The Miami Police Department told TMZ that officers were looking for Jones in connection with a Sept. 15 shooting outside Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen in Miami. A Davie Police Department spokesperson told the outlet that Davie officers were there to help serve the search warrant and that the City of Miami is leading the investigation. Jones was found at the property around 6 p.m. and taken into custody, TMZ reported. He is facing two counts of attempted murder. An arrest during a warrant is the start of a custody case. It is not a finding about who fired outside that restaurant three weeks earlier.

The booking record is more specific than the headline count. TMZ reported that the online record lists Jones, also known as BalloutDaDon, on a Miami-Dade County case with two firearm-related attempted second-degree murder charges and a $15,000 bond on each count. Two bonds are two separate amounts. Posting $15,000 on one count does not cover the other. In Florida, second-degree murder is the charge the state uses when it says an unlawful killing was done with a depraved mind and without premeditation. An attempt count says the person took a real step toward that crime and that the crime was not finished. When a booking also calls the count firearm-related, Florida's 10-20-Life law can add a minimum mandatory sentence later, but only if the state proves a gun was carried, used, or fired. The words on a jail roster are the charge as booked. They are not testimony, and they are not a jury's answer on the gun.

On Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, TMZ reported it had obtained the arrest warrant. In the account TMZ described, officers went to Dukunoo Jamaican Kitchen on Sept. 15 after a call that two people had been shot, and they found a white cross-body bag with blood on it. TMZ reported that one of the people who was shot told officers he had been watching a football game when his cousin got into a confrontation with Trippie Redd, that he tried to break up the fight, and that he was shot while trying to leave. TMZ reported the warrant says security video shows Jones, wearing that bag, and Trippie Redd enter the restaurant, shows Trippie Redd in a fight, and shows Jones take a gun from the bag and fire. The warrant, as TMZ described it, alleges Jones shot one person in the back and another in the neck, and that the group then left. Those are the police allegations in the warrant. They are not testimony a jury has heard. TMZ did not report a charge against Trippie Redd. A warrant's description of a fight is not an attempted-murder count against the homeowner, and the outlet did not report one against him.

The mansion is the place of arrest, not the crime scene in the charging paperwork TMZ described. The outlet reported that Trippie Redd's property, which it has called an $8 million Florida mansion, was swarmed Tuesday by Davie police, Fort Lauderdale police, Sunrise police, the Broward Sheriff's Office, the ATF, and Plantation Police SWAT. While the raid was still going, TMZ reported, authorities would not say who they were looking for or what the warrant was about. The account that followed names Jones as the person wanted and Jones as the person booked. TMZ did not report a charge against Trippie Redd. Owning a house where officers arrest someone else is not an element of attempted murder. A search warrant is a court's permission to look for a person or for evidence. It is not a charge against the homeowner, and it is not proof the homeowner knew why the guest was wanted. The investigation remains ongoing, TMZ reported, so the public account can still grow. What it supports today is a booking of Jones.

If the case goes forward, the state has to prove identity, an act, and the mental state for attempted second-degree murder on each count it keeps. Two counts can mean two alleged victims, or two ways of charging one episode. The booking line does not say which. Bond of $15,000 a count is the release decision the court made. The amount is not a comment on the strength of the evidence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Page Six says unsealed records from the Lively-Baldoni fight include Ryan Reynolds texts calling Baldoni a "predator and sociopath."

A text message in a court file is proof that someone wrote something. It is not a finding that what he wrote is true. Reynolds was angry in August 2024, and the records Page Six obtained show it. Baldoni has denied Lively's allegations from the start, and no jury ever ruled on them. Page Six reported the case settled in May. What is left now is the paper trail.

LAPD homicide detectives searched Joshua Tree on Friday for evidence in Christina Downer's disappearance.

A search by homicide detectives is a step in an investigation. It is not an arrest, and it is not a finding that anyone killed Christina Downer. Fox News reported the LAPD would not say what evidence detectives hoped to find in Joshua Tree, or whether they were looking for remains or a suspect. NBC Los Angeles reported that dogs were part of the search. Fox News reported a department spokesperson could not confirm the dogs. No one has been named or charged.

LAPD booked Gregory Walker on a felony assault count in the February shooting of 49ers lineman Keion White.

A booking described to a newspaper is the police account of who is in custody and on what count. It is not a criminal complaint the public has seen, and it is not a conviction. The New York Post reported that LAPD officials named Gregory Walker as the suspected gunman in the February shooting of Keion White. The Post did not report a charge against Lil Baby, who was described as the person White argued with before the shots. What a witness told police about two gunshots is an allegation. A jury has not heard it.
