Monday's order is the sentence on guilty pleas to affray. A suspended sentence does not send Brown to jail now. The eight-month term can be put into effect if he reoffends during the 12 months it is suspended. Prosecutors did not proceed with more serious charges both men had denied.

Judge Tony Baumgartner sentenced R&B singer Chris Brown, 37, on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at Southwark Crown Court in London to eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months, for affray, BBC News, the Daily Mail, The Independent, Sky News and the Associated Press reported. The case is a February 2023 attack on music producer Abraham Diaw at Tape, a private members' club in Mayfair. His vocal coach and co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, 40, received four months in prison, also suspended for 12 months.

Both men pleaded guilty to affray in July after prosecutors agreed not to proceed with more serious charges they had denied, the Daily Mail reported. Sky News reported the charges that were not proceeded with included assault, GBH and having an offensive weapon. Each man was ordered to pay £1,500 in costs, The Independent reported.

CCTV played in court showed Brown bringing a heavy, square tequila bottle down twice on the left side of Diaw's head and striking him again, the Daily Mail reported. The burst of violence lasted 17 to 20 seconds, the paper reported. The judge told Brown his music career did not entitle him to any "special treatment," the Daily Mail reported. "The repeated use of a glass bottle in that way, especially aimed at the head, was plainly dangerous," the judge said, according to the Daily Mail. The paper reported he took Brown's family responsibilities and charitable work into account. BBC News reported Diaw needed hospital treatment for injuries to his head and knee, and that the judge called the incident short but "intense."

Sky News reported the judge gave both men the maximum one-third reduction for pleading guilty at the first reasonable opportunity. The judge made no compensation order, citing unresolved questions about the extent and cause of the knee injury, Sky News reported. Brown left court giving a thumbs up and blowing a kiss to fans, Sky News reported.

The July guilty pleas are convictions for affray. The suspended prison terms are the sentences imposed Monday. A suspended sentence means neither man goes to jail unless he reoffends during the 12 months the term is held over him. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A Delaware judge dismissed Candace Owens from the Macrons' defamation suit and left her companies in the case.

Dismissal of the person is not a ruling that the statements were true, and it is not the end of the lawsuit. The companies are still defendants. AFP described the French clock as a three-month rule with a possible one-year extension. The order instead tells the remaining parties to brief which of those two French timelines controls.

Us Weekly identified Savannah Chrisley's fiancé as Jason Galanis, a convicted fraudster who served time at the same Pensacola camp as her father.

Jason Galanis's September 2020 guilty plea is the judgment. Us Weekly and the Daily Mail reported a sentence of more than 15 years and a commutation in March 2025. A commutation cuts what is left of a sentence. The pardons those outlets reported for Todd and Julie Chrisley are a different form of clemency. The pregnancy announcement does not reopen the fraud case, and neither outlet reported that the two men met inside the Pensacola camp.

Antoine de Massy, a cousin of Prince Albert II, was found dead in a Monaco garden.

The communique France 3 printed does not mention a nightclub and does not give the man a nationality. The Daily Mail, citing AFP, said de Massy was last seen staggering out of a nightclub early Sunday. L'Est Républicain, citing Monaco-Matin, reported that account and wrote that the prosecutor declined to comment on it. Monaco-Matin placed the body behind Villa Sauber. The Daily Mail placed it behind the New National Museum. The prosecutor's line is a park below the boulevard. He has not named a charge. The cause of death is what the investigation was opened to determine.
