Nineteen, and 18, are not the same age for Casey Knight. Wednesday's arrests, and arrests announced Thursday, are not the same day. Aggravated abuse of a disabled adult, and aggravated abuse of a disabled person, are not the same charge name. The stations' word teens, and the ages 18 and 19, are not a finding that anyone charged is under 18. The charges are what the stations say the booking page and the sheriff reported.

ClickOrlando, by Molly Reed, published November 5, 2026, at 4:29 p.m. with no time zone, reported Volusia County deputies made two more arrests in a beating at a bonfire in Tiger Bay State Forest, and that four people are now in custody. It reported Cody Stripling, 18, and Sebastian Bowers, 19, were the first identified and arrested, and that Logan Levesque, 18, and Casey Knight, 19, the man deputies say recorded the video, were subsequently taken into custody and face the same charges. It reported all four face enhanced felony charges and that they are being held in jail without bond, and that Sheriff Mike Chitwood said he is confident everyone involved has been identified and arrested. WESH printed Tiger Bay Forest. Tiger Bay Forest, and Tiger Bay State Forest, are not the same name. ClickOrlando does not print the titles of the charges. FOX 35 Orlando, by Emily Ching, published November 5, 2026, at 2:36 p.m. EST, reported Logan Levesque and Casey Knight were arrested on Wednesday on charges of aggravated abuse of a disabled adult, aggravated battery with bodily harm, and battery by strangulation, according to the Volusia County booking page, and that both are being held on no bond. It reported deputies arrested Stripling and Bowers over the weekend for the same charges. Wednesday, on a story published Thursday, Nov. 5, is Nov. 4. It does not print ages for Levesque or Knight. WESH, updated 4:41 p.m. EST on Nov. 5, 2026, with the byline Digital Content Producer and no name, reported the sheriff's office announced Thursday the arrests of 18-year-old Logan Levesque and 18-year-old Casey Knight. It reported Stripling, 18, and Bowers, 19, are facing several charges, including aggravated battery, and that the two were arrested on Halloween. Casey Knight is 19 on ClickOrlando and 18 on WESH. Those are not the same age. Neither age is selected here. Subsequently, on ClickOrlando, and arrested on Wednesday, on FOX 35, and announced Thursday, on WESH, are not the same day and not the same verb. Enhanced felony charges, on ClickOrlando, and aggravated abuse of a disabled adult, aggravated battery with bodily harm, and battery by strangulation, on FOX 35, and several charges including aggravated battery, on the Nov. 5 WESH story, are not the same list. Aggravated abuse of a disabled person, the charge name in the Oct. 31 WESH account below, and aggravated abuse of a disabled adult, on FOX 35's Nov. 5 story, are not the same charge name. Aggravated battery, and aggravated battery with bodily harm, are not the same charge name. Halloween, on the Nov. 5 WESH story, and Saturday, which the Oct. 31 stories treated as Oct. 31, and over the weekend, on FOX 35, are not the same wording. FOX 35's headline says two more teens. Its lede says two more men, and it calls the person who was beaten another teen. WESH's headline says two more teens. ClickOrlando does not print the word teens. The ages on these pages are 18 and 19.

The injury, the motive, and the sheriff's certainty are not one account. ClickOrlando reported deputies say the person who was beaten suffered a concussion and several minor injuries, and that he is 19. WESH reported the attack left the man with severe injuries after he said he was beaten for 30 to 40 minutes. FOX 35 reported the arrest report says he was left with multiple bruises on his arms, back, and face, and that he said the attack lasted roughly 30 to 40 minutes. A concussion and several minor injuries, and severe injuries, and multiple bruises on the arms, back, and face, are not the same injury account. The Oct. 31 WESH account below also printed multiple contusions and a bloodied mouth. The Nov. 5 pages read here do not. ClickOrlando reported Chitwood said the beating lasted approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Approximately, from the sheriff, and roughly, from the person who was beaten, are not the same speaker. ClickOrlando reported the video was recorded and circulated on Snapchat, and that deputies say Knight recorded it. FOX 35 reported cell phone video and did not print Snapchat or name Knight as the person who recorded it. The Nov. 5 WESH text read here does not print Snapchat. ClickOrlando reported investigators say the suspects claimed he made a comment about a woman at the party. FOX 35 reported the friend was told the men attacked him because he had "insulted and brushed up against an unidentified party-goer." A comment about a woman, and insulted and brushed up against an unidentified party-goer, are not the same account. The woman is not named. The friend is not named. The person who was beaten is not named. ClickOrlando quoted Chitwood, "When I first saw it, the first reaction was I want to throw up," and, "You're beating an individual that basically has one arm is what you're doing and some other issues." WESH quoted, "It makes you want to throw up," and, "You're beating an individual that basically has one arm..." and the page prints a period and a colon together before the attribution. One arm is what you're doing and some other issues, and one arm followed by an ellipsis, are not the same quotation. FOX 35's Nov. 5 text read here does not print that quotation. ClickOrlando also printed profanity in the sheriff's comments, including a label for the four and a line about filming. This account does not reprint those words. It quoted, "You have a duty to intervene, but you want to be a cameraman," and, "Nobody intervenes. They beat him down, they film it and they're laughing," and that his friend got him out and that they waited a day before "mom calls us." The mother is not named. ClickOrlando reported he has some physical disabilities. Its subhead says a disabled person. FOX 35's headline and brief say special needs, its caption says a disabled man, and its lede says another teen. WESH says a 19-year-old with disabilities. Special needs, physical disabilities, a disabled man, another teen, and one arm are not the same description. No page read here prints a diagnosis beyond those words. ClickOrlando reported Chitwood is confident everyone involved has been identified and arrested. FOX 35 reported it does not know whether more people may be arrested, and it printed the line "how many people attend the party" in the present tense. Confident everyone has been arrested, and does not know whether more people may be arrested, are not the same status. FOX 35 printed 386-248-1777 and asked people to email Det. Meeks. The Oct. 31 WESH account below printed that number for Det. Childers. Meeks, and Childers, are not the same name. He is 19 in these Nov. 5 accounts. He is not named here.

WESH, in a story by Brandon Hogan whose page shows an update at 11:58 p.m. EDT on Oct. 31, 2026, reported Volusia County deputies arrested an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old after what the sheriff described as a beatdown in a state forest. It reported Cody Stripling, 18, and Sebastian Bowers, 19, were identified as the people seen on camera beating another person during a bonfire in Tiger Bay State Forest, and that Sheriff Mike Chitwood said on social media they were arrested Saturday. Saturday is Oct. 31. WESH reported that according to their arrest affidavits each faces aggravated battery, battery by strangulation, and aggravated abuse of a disabled person. FOX 35, in a story by its digital staff published at 11:48 p.m. EDT on Oct. 31, reported two men have been charged in what Chitwood described as a beatdown of a physically handicapped man, and that the station's brief also called him physically and mentally handicapped. FOX 35 reported Chitwood said the 18-year-old and the 19-year-old were taken into custody Saturday and were charged with aggravated battery among other charges. Three named counts, and aggravated battery among other charges, are not the same list. WFTV, in a story by Carl-Max Millionard timestamped 7:51 p.m. EDT on Oct. 31 as Yahoo presented it, reported the two were arrested Oct. 31 for aggravated battery according to the sheriff's office, and it did not print strangulation or the disabled-person count. None of the three stories prints a court date or a bond.

The accounts of the beating use different clocks and a different word for the person who was hurt. FOX 35 reported the two suspects are shown on video released by the sheriff's office beating and kicking him with their fists early in the morning of Oct. 23 in Tiger Bay State Forest, that he does not appear to resist, and that he reported he was put in a chokehold, according to an affidavit. It reported the affidavit says another man took him to the party and left him there while taking other people home, that the friend returned as he was being choked and pulled the suspects off him, and that the man who was beaten contacted the sheriff's office last Sunday. From a story published Saturday, Oct. 31, last Sunday is Oct. 25. Oct. 23 and Oct. 25 are not the same day. The early-morning beating is FOX 35's Oct. 23. The report to the sheriff is FOX 35's last Sunday. WESH reported the victim told deputies that medical staff had advised him he had a concussion and multiple contusions, and that deputies further observed a bloodied mouth. FOX 35 reported he received numerous injuries and did not print the concussion or the bloodied mouth. WESH does not print Oct. 23, the fists, the kick, the chokehold, or the friend who returned. WFTV reported a video showed them assaulting another teen and did not print the forest injuries. A physically handicapped man, and a physically and mentally handicapped person, are FOX 35's two descriptions. Another teen is WFTV's. A disabled person is the name of a charge in the WESH account of the affidavits. He is not named in these stories. This account does not name him.

What the sheriff still wants is in the posts the stations quoted, and the contact lines do not match across every story because two of them do not print one. WESH quoted the post: "Detectives would still like to speak with others involved, including the camera man," and it printed 386-248-1777 and an email for Det. Childers at JChilders@volusiasheriff.gov. FOX 35 reported the sheriff's office is still looking for other people who were at the party, including the person who took the video, and it did not print a phone number. WFTV reported deputies want to speak with others involved, including the cameraman, and it did not print the number. Camera man, the person who took the video, and cameraman are three spellings of one request. WESH and FOX 35 do not print a city for either man. The person who was beaten is not named. Saturday's arrest is not a conviction. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

WJLA says Judge Neal Kravitz found Jaime Macedo guilty of voluntary manslaughter while armed. NBC4 says he pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
