Williams is held without bail on a Midvale robbery file.

Near 8098 S. Wood Street in Midvale, Williams is held without bail on two aggravated-robbery counts, two aggravated-assault counts, a weapons count, and fugitive warrants. The victims are adults, and the counts are accusations only.

Gunpoint robbery and assault captions, a no-bail hold, and a probation status are accusations and custody process. Priors and probation are background, not a verdict on the Midvale file. Damion Williams, 37, of Salt Lake City, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail and is being held without bail, as reported.

ABC4 Utah, citing the police report, says a couple returning from the grocery store was near 8098 S. Wood Street in Midvale when a white sedan pulled up. Williams and a second man, who is not clearly identified in the reporting, allegedly got out, pointed firearms, and demanded phones, wallets, a purse, and a backpack, threatening to shoot if the couple did not comply. Williams is accused of asking the woman to undress. She refused. He allegedly pushed her to the ground and threatened to shoot her boyfriend if she still would not. He is accused of taking her purse and backpack. The two then ran toward a bar on State Street, where the report says Williams had told the driver to go. The couple called 911 and identified Williams. Unified Police Department officers from the Midvale Precinct located and arrested him. Pointed guns, a demand, a refusal, a push, and taken bags are police allegations involving adult victims. They are not findings. The second man is still not clearly identified in the reporting.

He was booked on two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, and a weapons charge, and also on outstanding fugitive warrants, as reported. ABC4 reported that as of Sept. 5, 2026, he was on supervised felony probation, and that he had been booked on fugitive warrants that day. Earlier violent-felony allegations and time in prison have been reported as background. If the weapons count is a Category I restricted-person theory, probation or a prior violent felony is an element the State still has to prove. None of that history proves he committed the Midvale robbery or the assaults. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.

WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

High Point police charged Kymberli Bowden with first-degree murder in her 13-year-old daughter's death.

The Oct. 8 release is a new murder count on a case the department charged in 2025 as felony child abuse and concealment of death. It is not a trial. The murder-charge release says she remains in jail with no bond. WXII reported a violent-offense hold and a $1 million bond on the older counts. The 2025 release listed her age as 44. The murder-charge release, WXII, and FOX 35 Orlando list 45.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.

A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
