Wednesday's booking is an arrest on a first-degree murder charge, five aggravated-assault counts and a firearm count. Action News 5 reported Terrence Jeffries Jr. and Terrance Munson were already arrested and indicted in May. Their indictment is not a finding about Nash. The store address is 1335 South Bellevue in the station's Thursday story, 1385 South Bellevue in Memphis police releases, and the 1300 block in the Marshals release.

Dequarius Nash was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, on a first-degree murder charge in the shooting death of Kendarish Conrad, Action News 5 reported Thursday. The station reported he is also charged with five counts of aggravated assault and with possessing a firearm during a dangerous felony. Action News 5 reported officers searched a home on West Oak Branch Circle. The U.S. Marshals Service, in a release dated Thursday, said Memphis Safe Task Force members found him in the 3900 block of West Oak Branch Circle and took him to the Memphis Police Department homicide unit. The Marshals release calls him 30. Action News 5's story calls him 30, and the caption on the station's booking photo calls him 29. A Memphis police warrant posted while he was still being sought also listed him as 29. The charge is what police say he is being held on. It is not a conviction.

Conrad was 33, Action News 5 reported. The station reported he was shot 10 times at the In & Out Express at 1335 South Bellevue Boulevard in South Memphis, that 52 shell casings were recovered, and that he was taken to a hospital and did not survive. The Marshals release said Memphis police responded March 28, 2026, to a shooting at the In & Out Express in the 1300 block of South Bellevue, found Kendarish Conrad with multiple gunshot wounds, and that he died at the hospital. A Memphis police homicide post dated April 14 said officers responded at 1:06 a.m. on March 28 to 1385 South Bellevue and that the man they found was later pronounced dead. A June 24 post from the department about the same case number said officers responded at 1:17 a.m. to 1385 South Bellevue. The date, the store and the death are in every account. The street number and the minute are not.

Action News 5 reported police say Nash, Terrence Jeffries Jr. and Terrance Munson carried out the shooting and left together in a white pickup truck. The April Memphis police post said investigators identified three suspects in a white pickup and issued warrants for Terrence Munson, Terrence Jeffries Jr. and Dequarius Nash. The station reported Jeffries and Munson were arrested earlier this year and indicted in May. It reported Jeffries is accused of first-degree murder and aggravated assault, and Munson is charged with facilitation of first-degree murder. The station's photo caption spells the first name as Terrence Jefferies Jr., 18, and lists Terrance Munson, 44. The department's April post uses both Jeffries and Jefferies. The June post uses Terrance Jeffries, 18. Those are the other two names in the file. What police say the three did together is the accusation. The May indictment Action News 5 described is the other two defendants' case.

The June 24 Memphis police post still listed Nash as wanted and asked for tips through Crime Stoppers. Thursday's news is that the warrant has been served. The Marshals release grouped his arrest with three other arrests that day and said task force members made 44 arrests on Wednesday. The other names in that release are not this shooting. Nash's counts, as Action News 5 listed them Thursday, are first-degree murder, five aggravated-assault counts and a firearm count during a dangerous felony. The April warrant also listed tampering with evidence. The station's Thursday story does not include that count. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Sheriff's officials named Edward Villa as the suspect after Katie Kinder, her son and her mother were found shot to death in Happy Valley.

Thursday's briefing names the three people and names Villa as the only suspect. The warrant was three counts of first-degree murder. He was found dead before an arrest. KPTV, citing Warrenton police, called it an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. KGW reported Detective Matt Lysaght would not go past a gunshot deputies heard, a firearm in the room, and the fact that no officer fired. KPTV and OPB call the motel the South Jetty Inn. The Oregonian calls it the South Jetty Motel.

An Oahu grand jury indicted Orion Satori on a second-degree murder charge in the Young Street stabbing of Kiril Stoimenov.

An indictment means a grand jury found enough to send the case forward. It is not a finding of guilt. Police have said Satori did the stabbing, according to Hawaii News Now. The next step is arraignment, where he will be asked to enter a plea. Second-degree murder in Hawaii carries a maximum of life with the possibility of parole, the station reported.

The New York Post reported Suk Kuen Wong was charged with murder in the death of her son, Bryan Wong.

Thursday's murder count is what the New York Post said police reported. It is the accusation. Last week's accounts from ABC7, Gothamist, QNS and PIX11 still had the case as a homicide investigation with no arrest. The Post put her age at 61 on Oct. 15 and at 62 on Thursday. Gothamist and QNS used 62. No outlet has reported a plea, and the Post said no arraignment date had been set.
