An indictment is a charging document. It is not a conviction. The Lane County grand jury returned the indictment Thursday, Sept. 24, 2026, with a court hearing scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, 2026. Three murder counts and a driver-duty count are accusations, and a scheduled hearing is not a result.
The indictment charges Lopez with first-degree murder in the death of Pam Fultz, on an allegation tied to intentionally causing the death of Randy Fultz, and with second-degree murder for Randy Fultz. It also charges failure to perform the duties of a driver to injured persons, for an Aug. 6, 2026, hit-and-run on Sixth Street near G Street. A separate second-degree murder count covers the Aug. 7, 2026, stabbing death of Glen Thuleson, 60. Lopez had previously been charged in that stabbing. Those are the counts as indicted. They are not findings.
Pam Fultz and Randy Fultz were both 73. Reporting says they were struck by a white SUV while walking. The vehicle allegedly continued, struck a Toyota Prius, made a U-turn, struck the pedestrians again, and drove away. Randy Fultz died at the scene. Pam Fultz died on Aug. 24, 2026, after hospitalization. A strike, a second strike, and two deaths are what the case alleges. They are not a verdict on first-degree murder, second-degree murder, or the driver-duty count.
Springfield police, as credited by Lookout Eugene-Springfield, described the Thuleson killing as a random attack in front of a business in the 2800 block of Gateway Street. A prior charge in that stabbing and a second-degree murder count in this indictment are accusations. A hearing was set for Monday, Sept. 28, 2026. A date on the calendar is not a plea, a ruling, or a result. Lopez, 36, of Springfield, is presumed innocent on all counts.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.
WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

High Point police charged Kymberli Bowden with first-degree murder in her 13-year-old daughter's death.
The Oct. 8 release is a new murder count on a case the department charged in 2025 as felony child abuse and concealment of death. It is not a trial. The murder-charge release says she remains in jail with no bond. WXII reported a violent-offense hold and a $1 million bond on the older counts. The 2025 release listed her age as 44. The murder-charge release, WXII, and FOX 35 Orlando list 45.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.
A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
