The release lists Clark as 29. FOX 26 lists him as 31. FOX 26, citing court documents, said the shooting happened during an attempted robbery.

The capital-murder count is the charge. The release says Green was already in the Harris County Jail when he was charged. FOX 26 reported bond had not been set and that prosecutors had asked a judge to deny bond. The release does not mention bond, a robbery, or a relationship between the two people who died. FOX 26 said loved ones described Lessane as Clark's girlfriend.
Houston police said in a release dated Oct. 14, 2026, that Johnathan Green, 29, is charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of Jada Lessane and Kristopher Clark. The release said the charge is filed in the 488th Criminal District Court, and that a booking photo of Green is attached. It spelled his first name Johnathan in the body of the release and Jonathan on the update line. FOX 26 used Johnathan. The release said he was arrested and was in the Harris County Jail when he was charged for his role in the two deaths. A jail booking on a capital-murder count is the accusation.
The release put the shooting at 12819 Glen Hollow Drive at about 2:20 a.m. on July 12. It said patrol officers found a man and a woman inside the home with gunshot wounds, and that Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced them dead. It identified the victims as Jada Lessane, 24, and Kristopher Clark, 29. Homicide detectives E. May and C. Sharp were the officers named on the release. The release did not describe a motive, a weapon, or whether Green and the two people who died knew one another. It listed incident number 088580526.
FOX 26's story the same day used a different age for Clark and added allegations the release did not print. The station reported Green is charged with capital murder in the deaths of Kristopher Clark, 31, and Jada Lessane, 24. Court documents, the station reported, say he was attempting to rob Clark on July 12 when the shooting happened. FOX 26 reported his bond had not been set, that prosecutors had requested a hearing to deny bond, and that a judge had not approved that request as of the story. The station reported he is also being held on other charges and that it was not clear whether those charges are tied to the shooting. The Houston police release did not mention bond or any other charge.
The place and the relationship are also split. The release gives the street number, 12819 Glen Hollow Drive, and does not name a neighborhood. FOX 26 reported the home was on Glen Hollow Drive in South Acres, near Cullen Boulevard and East Orem Drive, and did not print the street number. The station reported officers were called around 2:20 a.m. on July 12, which matches the time on the release, and that detectives at first worked on the assumption that an unknown third person had shot the two and left. FOX 26 reported loved ones identified Clark and said Lessane was his girlfriend, and that they held a balloon release for Clark the weekend after he was killed. The police release does not describe the two as a couple. Loved ones' account of who they were to each other is not the charging document. The capital-murder count is what the release and FOX 26 said he is charged with. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Philip Ambrose pleaded not guilty to murder and guilty to manslaughter in the death of Michael Hayes.
The plea those outlets reported is an admission to manslaughter. It is not a sentence. The Leader says he is back on Oct. 30 so a sentencing date can be set. RTÉ and The Journal say next Friday, for a date for the sentence hearing, and do not print Oct. 30. The Leader is also the outlet that says the prosecution told the court the plea was acceptable to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
