Gonzalez Reyes is charged with posing as ICE.

In Miami Gardens and Hialeah, Gonzalez Reyes is charged on state assault and impersonation captions, and a Sunday federal pickup followed. The counts are accusations only.

State captions and a later federal warrant are still accusations. A SWAT re-arrest is custody process, not proof of impersonation or assault. Jonathan Christian Gonzalez Reyes, also reported as Jonathan Gonzalez Reyes, 45, of Hialeah and Northwest Miami-Dade, was arrested by the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office on state charges after an alleged July incident. Reporting put a judge finding probable cause and him bonding out Thursday. The state file, as reported, includes aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and impersonating an officer, plus related badge and blue-light captions. Those are charging theories. They are not a conviction.

Police and charging papers, as reported, describe a July encounter at a Miami Gardens food-truck business: surveillance of blue lights, a badge and a gun, a claim of a top ICE position and immigration help, threats to the owner and his son — including a pistol-whip and a threat to plant drugs — and a pointed firearm. The victim later told Homeland Security of repeated visits and intimidation. Those are investigation and complainant claims. They are not trial findings. Reporting on the state file also says he denied knowing the victim and denied brandishing the gun, then said he was showing it. A denial in an interview is not an acquittal.

Sunday morning, Sept. 20–21, 2026, a federal SWAT team re-arrested him in Hialeah on federal charges of impersonating a federal official. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed the federal file Monday. ICE said the pickup is an impersonation case, not an immigration-status arrest. He has been assigned a public defender. A warrant, a raid, and a defender assignment are process. They are not proof of the assault or impersonation elements. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.

WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

High Point police charged Kymberli Bowden with first-degree murder in her 13-year-old daughter's death.

The Oct. 8 release is a new murder count on a case the department charged in 2025 as felony child abuse and concealment of death. It is not a trial. The murder-charge release says she remains in jail with no bond. WXII reported a violent-offense hold and a $1 million bond on the older counts. The 2025 release listed her age as 44. The murder-charge release, WXII, and FOX 35 Orlando list 45.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.

A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
