Tuesday evening, on the NoCo Herald, and this week, on CBS Colorado, are not the same clock. Targeted, on the NoCo Herald, and gang-related, on CBS Colorado, are not the same word. The Eisenhower Boulevard offramp, and the southbound I-25 off-ramp at U.S. 34, are not the same place line. The juvenile is not named. The charge list is the accusation on the NoCo Herald page.

The NoCo Herald, dated November 5, 2026, with no byline and no clock, reported Loveland police arrested three people in connection with the Sept. 21 shooting near the I-25 and Eisenhower Boulevard offramp, after investigators resolved the case Tuesday evening. Tuesday, in a story dated November 5, is November 3. The page does not print November 3. It named Jose Silva, Andres Valles, and a juvenile. It does not print ages for Silva or Valles. It does not print the juvenile's name or age, and it does not print the word male. It reported they face two counts of attempted murder in the first degree (F2), under CRS 18-3-102, and assault in the first degree (F3), under CRS 18-3-202. It reported they also face illegal discharge of a firearm (F5), under CRS 18-12-107.5; conspiracy to commit a felony (F6), under CRS 18-2-201; and a crime of violence and violent crime charge, causing death or serious bodily injury (SE), under CRS 18-1.3-406. Causing death or serious bodily injury is the charge name on that page. The same page says the two people who were shot remain stable. It does not report a death. It reported Valles also faces possession of a weapon by a previous offender (F6), under CRS 18-12-103. It does not print that count for Silva or for the juvenile. It reported Magistrate Doak set bond at $1.25 million for Valles and $750,000 for Silva, and that both bonds are cash only. It reported Magistrate Siegel ordered the juvenile suspect detained pending the next court appearance. It does not print that date.

The same page reported that on Monday, Sept. 21, shortly after midnight, officers responded to an iPhone crash notification near the I-25 and Eisenhower Boulevard offramp and found two people with gunshot wounds. It reported the two sustained life-threatening injuries, were transported for emergency medical care, remain stable, and continue to face significant recovery. It reported evidence confirmed the incident was targeted, and that the suspects are believed to have known one of the victims. It credited the Thornton, Westminster, and Commerce City police departments, the District Attorney's Office, CIAC, FBI Task Forces, and ATF. Sergeant J. Pfoff said, "These incidents have no place in our community," and, "When they occur, our department will relentlessly pursue those responsible. We remain committed to protecting everyone in Loveland and will continue working tirelessly to ensure justice is served." The page printed that the listed charges are accusations and that the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. Until and unless is that paper's line.

CBS Colorado, by Dillon Thomas, carries a published stamp of 6:59 a.m. MST on November 6, 2026, and an updated line of 7:00 a.m. MST the same morning. It reported three people were arrested in a shooting on southbound Interstate 25 that left two people with serious life-threatening injuries, after a weeks-long investigation into the Sept. 21 shooting, which police believe was gang related. Gang related, on CBS Colorado, is not a word on the NoCo Herald page. Targeted, on the NoCo Herald, is not a word on the CBS Colorado page. It reported the investigation began shortly after midnight when an automated crash detection feature on one of the victim's iPhones alerted authorities to a crash on the southbound I-25 off-ramp at U.S. 34, and that police had not received any calls from witnesses reporting a shooting on the interstate. An automated crash detection feature, and an iPhone crash notification, are not the same words. The southbound I-25 off-ramp at U.S. 34, and the I-25 and Eisenhower Boulevard offramp, are not the same place line. Southbound is on CBS Colorado. It is not on the NoCo Herald page. It reported officers found two people suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. To the head is CBS Colorado. The NoCo Herald says gunshot wounds and does not print to the head. It quoted Loveland Police spokesperson Chris Padgett, "It looked incredibly grim," and, "We do believe this was gang-related." Sergeant J. Pfoff, and Chris Padgett, are not the same speaker. Neither page prints the other's quotation. It reported police turned to Flock camera technology and that the cameras helped establish that the victims had been followed from Fort Collins. Followed from Fort Collins is CBS Colorado. It is not on the NoCo Herald page. It reported work with the FBI task force, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and local law enforcement agencies, and that the Larimer County District Attorney's office played a major role. The Larimer County District Attorney's office, and the District Attorney's Office, are not the same name line. Thornton, Westminster, Commerce City, and CIAC are on the NoCo Herald page. They are not on the CBS Colorado page. It reported police arrested 20-year-olds Jose Silva and Andres Valles, along with a male juvenile, this week. Age 20 is CBS Colorado. It is not on the NoCo Herald page. A male juvenile, and a juvenile, are not the same words. This week, and Tuesday evening, are not the same clock. It reported both victims are now expected to survive, remain hospitalized, and are still receiving treatment. Expected to survive, and remain stable but continue to face significant recovery, are not the same medical line. CBS Colorado does not print the charge list, the statute numbers, the bond, or the magistrates. The Coloradoan lead that was retrieved reported Loveland police arrested three people and charged them with attempted murder for their suspected involvement in a Sept. 21 shooting near the Interstate 25 and U.S. Highway 34 interchange that left two people with life-threatening injuries. Suspected involvement, and in connection with, are not the same words. Interchange, and offramp, are not the same word. That sentence does not print the names, the bond, assault, or the rest of the NoCo Herald list. The rest of the Coloradoan page was not retrieved. A 9NEWS page for this arrest was not retrieved. The juvenile is not named. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

WJLA says Judge Neal Kravitz found Jaime Macedo guilty of voluntary manslaughter while armed. NBC4 says he pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
