Two second-degree murder counts after a domestic-disturbance call are the accusation. They are not a finding that Joseph Clark shot Noelle Clark. KVOA, citing the Pima County Sheriff's Department, says he was booked Saturday. FOX 10 Phoenix dates the call to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9. KOLD dates that same Friday call to Oct. 6. The sheriff's department has not said why the charge list has two counts.

FOX 10 Phoenix reported that the Pima County Sheriff's Office responded at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2026, to a domestic disturbance at a home near Houghton and Sahuarita roads in Vail. The station reported that deputies saw Joseph Clark, 49, leaving the home and detained him, and that inside they found his wife, Noelle Clark, 39, dead with an apparent gunshot wound. KOLD reported the same 6:30 p.m. call, the same ages, and that deputies detained him without incident as he was leaving. KOLD placed the home in the 17000 block of South Ridgerunner Drive and dated the call Friday, Oct. 6. Oct. 9, 2026, was a Friday. Oct. 6 was a Tuesday. KGUN 9's earlier account of the same Friday-night call near Sahuarita Drive and Houghton Road, which the station placed in Corona de Tucson, said deputies detained a 49-year-old man as he was exiting, found a woman dead from a gunshot, and had not released either name because next of kin had not been notified. That earlier account also said criminal charges were under review.

KVOA, citing the Pima County Sheriff's Department, reported that deputies booked Clark into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, and that he faces two counts of second-degree murder. KOLD reported the same two counts and the same jail. KVOA reported that deputies identified the victim as his wife, 39-year-old Noelle Clark, and that investigators confirmed she was pregnant. FOX 10 Phoenix reported the same identification and the same pregnancy. KVOA reported that deputies located two young children inside the residence, that the sheriff's department issued a correction stating the children are 2 and 5 years old, and that both are in the custody of the Arizona Department of Child Safety. FOX 10 Phoenix reported the same ages, that the children were not injured, and the same child-safety custody. KGUN 9's earlier account had said the children inside were 3 and 4 and were unharmed. The children are not named in any of these accounts.

KVOA reported that the sheriff's department has not released further details regarding the circumstances of the deaths, and that the investigation remains active. FOX 10 Phoenix reported that the events leading up to Noelle Clark's death were not released. The two counts are what KVOA and KOLD attribute to the booking. Neither those stations nor FOX 10 Phoenix states what the second count refers to. A booking on two counts is the accusation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.

WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

High Point police charged Kymberli Bowden with first-degree murder in her 13-year-old daughter's death.

The Oct. 8 release is a new murder count on a case the department charged in 2025 as felony child abuse and concealment of death. It is not a trial. The murder-charge release says she remains in jail with no bond. WXII reported a violent-offense hold and a $1 million bond on the older counts. The 2025 release listed her age as 44. The murder-charge release, WXII, and FOX 35 Orlando list 45.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.

A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
