Corso was sentenced to seven years for first-degree manslaughter. A plea is not Panebianco's 25 years.
On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Suffolk County Justice Timothy Mazzei sentenced Kacy Corso to seven years after a July 2026 guilty plea to first-degree manslaughter in the Nov. 10, 2025 killing of Christopher Millwater, 52, at the Stony Brook Yacht Club. The sentence follows the plea and is not Panebianco's Tuesday term.

A sentence after a guilty plea is the judgment on the manslaughter count she admitted. It is not a murder verdict, and it is not Panebianco's 25-year sentence. On Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Timothy Mazzei sentenced Kacy Corso to seven years in prison after her July 2026 guilty plea to first-degree manslaughter, a reduced charge for cooperating, in the Nov. 10, 2025 killing of Christopher Millwater, 52.
The New York Post reported Corso's age as 34. The plea agreement reportedly includes five years of post-release supervision and cooperation against the co-defendant. Those reported terms sit with the seven-year prison sentence imposed Wednesday. They are not a murder verdict. Per the Suffolk County District Attorney's admissions and the reporting, Corso and Panebianco waited. Corso crashed into Millwater's car. Panebianco stabbed Millwater twice in the chest. The pair fled to North Carolina. Millwater was killed in the Stony Brook Yacht Club parking lot on Long Island. That is the conduct behind the July guilty plea. It is not a trial.
Victor Panebianco was sentenced the day before, Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, to 25 years for first-degree manslaughter. That 25-year term is his judgment. It is not hers. Her seven years is the sentence on the manslaughter count she admitted. The New York Post and Newsday reported that seven-year figure as imposed Wednesday. The New York Post's age is 34. The prior desk file listed 33.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.
WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.
A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
