Malice murder on the GBI release is a charge. It is not a conviction. Shot at her, on the release and on WTXL, and shooting her, on WCTV, are not the same act. Donalsonville and Donaldsonville are not the same spelling. The autopsy the release says will be done at the GBI Medical Examiner's Office is still ahead of a cause of death.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation release, datelined Donalsonville, Seminole County, GA (November 4, 2026), says the GBI has arrested and charged Lamar McDonald, age 37, of Donalsonville, GA, with one count of Malice Murder, one count of Felony Murder, two counts of Aggravated Assault, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During a Felony, in connection with the death of Dyshena Haire, age 35, of Donalsonville, GA. EIN Presswire carried the release as news provided by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on November 5, 2026, at 05:22 GMT. That clock is 12:22 a.m. Eastern on Nov. 5. The date inside the release is November 4. It says the Seminole County Sheriff's Office requested the GBI's help. It says that on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at about 6:00 a.m., deputies responded to Haire's home on Harrell Moye Road in Donalsonville and found her body in the driveway with injuries consistent with an assault. It says the investigation revealed that around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026, McDonald intentionally drove a vehicle over Haire multiple times and shot at her. It says he was arrested and booked into the Seminole County Jail. It says her body will be taken to the GBI Medical Examiner's Office, where an autopsy will be conducted. It says the investigation is active and ongoing, gives the Regional Investigative Office in Thomasville at 229-225-4090, and gives a tipline at 800-597-TIPS(8477). It says that once complete, the case file will be given to the Pataula Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office for prosecution.

WTXL's story does not print a reporter's name or a clock. The dateline is Donalsonville. The headline says a man was charged with murder after allegedly running over and shooting a woman. Charged with murder, in that headline, and one count of Malice Murder, on the release, are not the same count line. It reported the GBI announced Wednesday that Lamar McDonald, 37, of Donalsonville, was arrested in the death of 35-year-old Dyshena Haire, also of Donalsonville. Wednesday is November 4. It reported investigators say he intentionally ran over a woman multiple times and shot at her. Ran over, and drove a vehicle over, are not the same verb. Shot at her is the release's phrase, and it is WTXL's phrase. It reported that, according to the GBI, deputies responded to her home on Harrell Moye Road around 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, and found her body in the driveway with injuries consistent with an assault. Around 6 a.m., and about 6:00 a.m., are not the same clock. It reported investigators determined that around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, he allegedly drove a vehicle over her multiple times and shot at her. Allegedly, on that page, and intentionally, with no allegedly, on the release, are not the same word. It listed one count of malice murder, one count of felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. During the commission of a felony, and During a Felony, are not the same charge name. Lowercase counts, and the release's title-case counts, are not the same typesetting. It reported he was booked into the Seminole County Jail, that the body will be taken to the GBI Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, and that once the investigation is complete the case will be turned over to the Pataula Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office. Turned over, and given, are not the same verb. Once the investigation is complete, and once complete, are not the same sentence. It printed the tipline as 800-597-8477. The release prints 800-597-TIPS(8477).

WCTV, by Mishalynn Brown, published Nov. 4, 2026, at 4:16 p.m. EST, reported a Georgia man is behind bars on numerous murder charges, including aggravated assault, in connection with the death of 35-year-old Dyshena Haire, according to the GBI. An update line did not print a second clock. Numerous murder charges, including aggravated assault, is the lede. Aggravated assault is a count on the release. It is not a murder count. The lede does not print malice murder or felony murder. The next sentence does. It reported the GBI said 37-year-old Lamar McDonald is charged with malice murder, felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a felony. It reported he is accused of driving a car over Haire multiple times before shooting her. A car, and a vehicle, are not the same word. Before shooting her, and shot at her, are not the same act. It reported Seminole County deputies responded at about 6 a.m. Sunday on Harrell Moye Road in Donaldsonville. Donaldsonville, on that page, and Donalsonville, on the release and on WTXL, are not the same spelling. It reported Haire was found by officers lying in the driveway, seemingly injured from an assault. Officers, and deputies, are not the same word. Lying in the driveway, seemingly injured, and a body in the driveway with injuries consistent with an assault, are not the same condition. It reported further investigation revealed that the murder happened earlier in the night at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. The murder happened, and the investigation revealed, are not the same verb, and that sentence does not print October 31 or a year. It reported he was taken to the Seminole County Jail and that an autopsy is expected to be conducted by the GBI Examiner's Office. Taken to, and booked into, are not the same custody line. The GBI Examiner's Office, and the GBI Medical Examiner's Office, are not the same name. Expected, and will be conducted, are not the same verb. WCTV does not print the district attorney, the Thomasville number, or the tipline. It does not print intentionally. Malice murder, felony murder, the two aggravated-assault counts, and the firearm count are charges on the release. The autopsy is still the examiner's. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

WJLA says Judge Neal Kravitz found Jaime Macedo guilty of voluntary manslaughter while armed. NBC4 says he pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Voluntary manslaughter while armed, and voluntary manslaughter, and manslaughter, are not the same count. A bench outside Father O'Connell Hall, and a park on the campus, and a small plaza by that hall, and the 600 block of Alumni Lane, are not the same place. Brookland-CUA Metro, and Brookland Metro, and Brookland-Catholic University Metro, are not the same station line. Snapchat messages, and a message, and an urgent message, are not the same account. Cash App, and cash app, and $300 with no app named, are not the same line. Judge Kravitz accepted the plea and found Jaime Macedo guilty of voluntary manslaughter while armed.
