The lone holdout juror in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial says he had no reasonable doubt in his first TV interview.
Fox News reported that Michael Desronvil, the only juror who voted to convict Lindsay Clancy before a Sept. 4 mistrial, told Kayleigh McEnany on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, that he had "a lot of evidence" behind his vote. Eleven jurors had voted that she was not criminally responsible. Her defense is asking the court to investigate him.

A juror defending his vote on television is not evidence, and it does not change the legal posture: a hung jury means no verdict, and Clancy remains unconvicted. The fight now is whether Clancy's defense can turn the deliberation-room dispute into a court inquiry, and what a retrial would look like.
Michael Desronvil, the lone holdout on the Lindsay Clancy jury, gave his first televised interview Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, to Fox News' Kayleigh McEnany, Fox News reported. "I had a lot of evidence to back up my claim," he said. "But because out of respect of the other jurors in the court system, I will put that to sleep for now until, you know, they go through the process." He said, "There were moments as we were deliberating," but declined to give specifics because the next steps in the case remain unclear, Fox News reported. Mediaite, summarizing the interview, reported he said he never had reasonable doubt.
Fox News reported Desronvil was the only one of the 12 deliberating jurors who voted to convict. The other 11 found Clancy not criminally responsible because of mental disease or defect, and Plymouth County Superior Court Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial Sept. 4. After the mistrial, other jurors said in interviews that Desronvil wanted to convict despite having his own reasonable doubts, which he has denied, Fox News reported. He previously gave a video statement on "Hannity" asking the public to focus on the three children rather than on him. His attorney, Edward Paltzik, has told Fox News, "Michael has zero doubt."
Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, has called Desronvil an "obstructionist" juror and asked Judge Sullivan to preserve all juror records, hallway surveillance video outside the deliberation room, and cellphone sign-in sheets, Fox News reported. The defense is also seeking his juror questionnaire, probation records, any record in the statewide domestic violence registry, and his phone records during deliberation hours. A hearing on that inquiry motion was postponed after Desronvil hired a Massachusetts attorney, Fox News reported. Clancy, a former nurse, is charged with killing her three young children at their Duxbury home in January 2023. Prosecutors argued she acted deliberately, and her defense argued she suffered postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A federal judge sentenced Robert Sean Enos to 30 years for two counts of second-degree murder on the Gila River Indian Community.
A federal prison term after a guilty plea is the court's judgment on the counts he admitted. The U.S. Attorney's Office release says he shot three people, killed two, and seriously injured a third. It does not name them, and it does not give a motive. Thirty years is the term the judge imposed. The release does not say how that term is split among the three counts.

Davy Spencer Jr. pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the Wilmington stabbing that killed Marine Daniel Montano.
A negotiated guilty plea to second-degree murder is a conviction on that count, and the prison term is the sentence. WECT reported the range is 251 to 314 months, with credit for 185 days already served. The two assault counts cover fellow Marines who were with Montano that night. Montano's sister and father spoke at the hearing and asked for no mercy.
