Long Beach police booked Miles Carr and Carinne Kee on suspicion of murder after a Linden Avenue stabbing.

KTLA reported that officers were called just before 1 p.m. on Oct. 20, 2026, to the 100 block of Linden Avenue. Police identified Carr, 26, of Long Beach, and Kee, 37, of Lawndale, and said each is held on $2 million bail. The case has not been filed by the district attorney. An earlier Long Beach Post account spelled a suspect Brianna Kee.

A booking on suspicion of murder is not a complaint the district attorney has filed. KTLA said detectives will present the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration. The accounts do not agree on how many people were stabbed, or on the spelling of Kee's first name.

KTLA reported that Long Beach police identified Miles Carr, 26, of Long Beach, and Carinne Kee, 37, of Lawndale, as the two people arrested after a stabbing on Oct. 20, 2026, in the 100 block of Linden Avenue. The station said officers were called just before 1 p.m., that both were booked on suspicion of murder, and that each remains in custody on $2 million bail. The Long Beach Watchdog, Patch and MyNewsLA reported the same two names, the same ages, the same bail, and the same murder booking. KTLA said it is not known whether the victim and the suspects knew each other. The Watchdog reported the motive is still under investigation. KTLA, the Watchdog, Patch and MyNewsLA each reported the case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration. A booking is the arrest. It is not a filed charge.

What police have said about the fight is not one account. KTLA reported a verbal dispute among multiple people became a physical altercation, that two men were stabbed, that one died, and that the second was treated and is expected to survive. The Long Beach Post, in a story published Oct. 21, also reported one man dead and another wounded, and said officers stopped a vehicle roughly an hour later near Junipero Avenue and 15th Street and arrested one person at gunpoint. That story named Brianna Kee, 37, as booked on suspicion of murder with $2 million bail. The Watchdog, Patch and MyNewsLA, writing later, named Carinne Kee and Miles Carr and said both were arrested. Those three described the man who died and did not describe a second wounded man. The Watchdog said Carr was arguing with a man in his late 30s to early 40s, and that Carr and Kee then got into a physical altercation with him. Patch said the victim was a man in his late 30s to early 40s. MyNewsLA said he was between 30 and 40. Each of those outlets said his name is being withheld while the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identifies him and notifies next of kin. He is not named here.

The clock on the arrest is also split. Patch reported officers arrived at about 12:58 p.m. and found the suspects' vehicle at about 1:08 p.m. in the 1500 block of Junipero Avenue, where both were taken into custody without incident. MyNewsLA reported the stabbing around 1 p.m. and the arrests around 1:10 p.m. in that block. The Watchdog reported officers located them about 10 minutes after they first arrived, and that both were arrested without incident. KTLA reported the vehicle was found in the 1500 block of Junipero Avenue and did not give the 10-minute figure. The Long Beach Post's hour-later stop is the earlier account, and it described one arrest. The later accounts describe two. KTLA asked anyone with information to call homicide detectives Chasen Contreras and Jared Asato at 562-570-7244. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Action News 5 reported Terrence Jeffries Jr. and Terrance Munson were already arrested and indicted in May. Their indictment is not a finding about Nash. The store address is 1335 South Bellevue in the station's Thursday story, 1385 South Bellevue in Memphis police releases, and the 1300 block in the Marshals release.

Sheriff's officials named Edward Villa as the suspect after Katie Kinder, her son and her mother were found shot to death in Happy Valley.

Thursday's briefing names the three people and names Villa as the only suspect. The warrant was three counts of first-degree murder. He was found dead before an arrest. KPTV, citing Warrenton police, called it an apparent self-inflicted gunshot. KGW reported Detective Matt Lysaght would not go past a gunshot deputies heard, a firearm in the room, and the fact that no officer fired. KPTV and OPB call the motel the South Jetty Inn. The Oregonian calls it the South Jetty Motel.

An Oahu grand jury indicted Orion Satori on a second-degree murder charge in the Young Street stabbing of Kiril Stoimenov.

An indictment means a grand jury found enough to send the case forward. It is not a finding of guilt. Police have said Satori did the stabbing, according to Hawaii News Now. The next step is arraignment, where he will be asked to enter a plea. Second-degree murder in Hawaii carries a maximum of life with the possibility of parole, the station reported.
