A Trumbull County judge sentenced Nazeer Buckley to 15 years to life for the murder of Billy Anderson.

The Tribune Chronicle reported Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, that Judge Cynthia Westcott sentenced Nazeer S. Buckley on Wednesday to 15 years to life after a guilty plea to murder in the April 19 stabbing of Billy J. Anderson, 20. The Tribune called Buckley 30. WFMJ's Oct. 21 sentencing story called him 29 and called the man who died William Anderson. WKBN reported the plea reduced an indictment that included aggravated murder.

Wednesday's term is the sentence on a murder plea. It is not an aggravated-murder conviction. WKBN reported the state dropped the other counts. The Tribune's sentencing story and WFMJ do not print the same age, and they do not print the same name for the man who was killed. The street is South Feederlee Drive SE in the Tribune and the 2200 block of Feederle Drive in WFMJ.

The Tribune Chronicle reported Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, that Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Cynthia Westcott on Wednesday sentenced Nazeer S. Buckley to 15 years to life in prison, the term the paper said was called for in his plea agreement. The Tribune reported he pleaded guilty to murder in the April 19 stabbing of Billy J. Anderson, 20, at an apartment on South Feederlee Drive SE in Warren, and that the Tribune identified Buckley as 30. WFMJ reported Oct. 21 that 29-year-old Nazeer Buckley was sentenced to 15 years to life on a murder charge in the fatal stabbing of William Anderson on the 2200 block of Feederle Drive in April, and that Anderson died of his injuries at a hospital. WKBN reported Buckley was sentenced to 15 years to life for his role in the April 2026 stabbing of 20-year-old William Anderson. Thirty and 29 are both in the sentencing coverage. Billy J. Anderson and William Anderson are both in it. The papers agree on the prison term.

What the plea replaced is in WKBN's account. The station reported Buckley was originally indicted on three charges, including aggravated murder and felonious assault, and that the state agreed to a reduced murder conviction and dropped the other counts. The Tribune's Friday story reported the sentence followed a guilty plea to murder and did not reprint the counts that were dropped. WFMJ reported he pleaded guilty earlier this month and did not list the earlier indictment. A murder plea is the count he admitted. It is not a finding on an aggravated-murder count that WKBN said was dropped.

The Tribune reported what prosecutors said about April 19. Officers found Anderson, of Warren, at the top of a staircase, suffering from multiple stab wounds. The knife was located. Witnesses identified Buckley as the person who stabbed Anderson during an altercation. Anderson was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Tribune reported family members have said Anderson lived in the apartment and went there that night to confront a woman he was seeing about her relationship with Buckley. The woman is not named in the Tribune's story. Buckley, also of Warren, did not offer any comments before the sentence, the Tribune reported.

Anderson's mother, Amy Loudermilt, spoke at the hearing. The Tribune reported Trumbull County Victim Witness Advocate Jenna Maze read Loudermilt's statement, and it quoted Loudermilt calling her son "the sweetest, kindest kid" and saying, "I would give anything to hear his voice and see him walking through my door again." Those sentences are what the paper said she told the court. The 15-years-to-life term is the sentence Judge Westcott imposed on the murder plea, as the Tribune reported it, and the term WFMJ and WKBN reported. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A Los Angeles judge ordered Andrew Jimenez to stand trial on a murder charge in the death of Mayra Jimenez.

Wednesday's order is a finding that the prosecution showed enough to go forward. It is not a verdict. The defense asked the judge to dismiss the charge for what the lawyer called insufficient evidence. She did not. The wound count is what the hearing record described through testimony and stipulations. Nov. 4 is an arraignment date, not a trial date.

A Grainger County jury sentenced Aaron White to life without parole on both murder counts in the deaths of Jon Atkins and Deven McDaniel.

Thursday was the verdict. Friday was the punishment. WBIR reported the choice on each murder count was life with the possibility of parole or life without it, and that the jury picked life without parole on both. The account of the killings that WBIR says prosecutors played is a recorded police interview. It is not a statement he made at the sentencing.

A Berks County jury convicted Daniel Baumert of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Dawson Mohl.

Involuntary manslaughter is the conviction both outlets reported. It is not a murder verdict. The year of the shooting is not printed the same way, and neither is the safety the stories say failed. Nov. 20 is the date WFMZ said the district attorney gave. The Eagle said November and did not print the day. The sentence has not been imposed.
