The 50-year-old Doctor Who actor appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, and denied two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism and one count of exposure involving five women between 2007 and 2016, the BBC and Sky News reported. He was granted bail and is due at Southwark Crown Court on Nov. 18.

A not-guilty plea at a first magistrates' appearance is the defendant's answer, and Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring sent the case to the crown court because a conviction would be beyond that court's sentencing power, the Daily Mail reported. Variety's account of Clarke's lost libel case against the Guardian is a civil judgment about a 2021 investigation. The five women in the criminal charges stay unnamed.
Noel Clarke, 50, pleaded not guilty Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026, to six sexual offense charges at Westminster Magistrates' Court in London, the BBC, Sky News and the Daily Mail reported. The charges are two counts of sexual assault, three counts of voyeurism and one count of exposure. Sky News and the BBC reported the allegations involve five women and are said to have taken place between 2007 and 2016. The Daily Mail reported the alleged offenses were in London and Dorset. Clarke spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address and to enter the pleas, Sky News and the Daily Mail reported. He was granted bail. His next date is Nov. 18 at Southwark Crown Court.
The Daily Mail identified the judge as Chief Magistrate Paul Goldspring. Gul Nawaz Hussain KC, for Clarke, asked that Clarke's address not be read in open court. Goldspring refused. When Clarke muttered the address, the judge told him, "I didn't hear that so I doubt anyone else did, you need to say that again," the Daily Mail reported. Clarke repeated it and then entered a not-guilty plea to each charge. Goldspring told him, "You have pleaded not guilty to each of these charges. If you are convicted the sentence is likely to be in excess of the power of this court." Charlotte Newell KC, prosecuting, said Clarke was "in a position of power and trust" at the time of the allegations, the Daily Mail reported. The women are not named in these accounts.
Clarke played Mickey Smith on Doctor Who from 2005 to 2010 and wrote and starred in Kidulthood and Adulthood, the BBC and Sky News reported. Variety reported the Metropolitan Police charged him last month after the Crown Prosecution Service authorized the case. Variety also reported that Clarke sued the Guardian over a 2021 investigation, lost last year, and that Justice Steyn found the paper's reporting "substantially true" and found that Clarke lacked credibility as a witness. He was ordered to pay £3 million of the paper's legal costs, Variety reported. The Daily Mail reported he was declared bankrupt last December. A libel judgment decides what a newspaper could print. It does not decide the criminal counts he denied on Wednesday.
Sky News reported the charges followed a year-long Metropolitan Police investigation. Wednesday's hearing was a first appearance and a plea. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

A San Diego judge granted Faizon Love two years of mental health diversion and took next week's trial off the calendar.
Diversion postpones the case. It does not dismiss it, and it does not produce a verdict. Harutunian said he disagrees with California's diversion statute and that he is required to follow it. He found prosecutors had not met the statute's clear-and-convincing standard. NBC 7 reported the diagnosis was not said in open court, and the clerk is not named.

Daytona Beach police say a 20-year-old told Rick Ross' son "I don't care who your daddy is" before striking him with a handgun.
The suspect's name is not printed the same way. WESH and Complex call him Don Roberts III. WFTV's story, carried on Yahoo, calls him Don Roberts II. The booking listing shows Don Roberts, 20. Despite the shared surname, WESH and Complex report police documents identify the two men as unrelated. WFTV also noted that 50 Cent's post does not show that the lawyer he named has joined the case, or that the suspect has been released. The outcome of Wednesday's bond hearing had not been reported when this story published.

Blueface was arrested in Santa Clarita after deputies answering what turned out to be a fake gun call say he refused their commands.
Being swatted makes Blueface the target of someone else's crime, and the sheriff's department says the gun call was bogus. The arrest is about what deputies say happened after they arrived. Delaying an investigation is a low-level allegation, but he is on probation from a 2022 Las Vegas shooting case, and that is where a new arrest can carry more weight than the charge itself. As of now, no one has said whether prosecutors will file anything.
