A murder arrest on suspicion is an accusation. It is not a conviction. Police say Levels is the man who shot Harrison and wounded the woman, and that a robbery count is part of the filing. The Fresno Bee reported he is held on $1,525,000 bail. Bail is a custody condition.
KMPH reported officers responded around 2:19 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, found Harrison with a gunshot wound, and pronounced him dead at the scene despite lifesaving efforts. The 61-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and remained in stable condition. GV Wire reported the same time, the same intersection, and the same three suspicions: murder, attempted murder, and robbery. Levels was booked into the Fresno County Jail. The Fresno Bee reported booking records put the arrest near Olive and Peach avenues around 10:30 p.m. Monday, with bail at $1,525,000.
ABC30 reported that Harrison's brother, Phillip Grigsby, said Levels was known to the family, and that police had not released how they knew each other or what led to the shooting. The station also reported children were inside the home and were not hurt. They are not named here. Detectives were still asking anyone with information to call Fresno police homicide.
A robbery count filed with a murder count tells the court what police think the shooting was about. It does not prove it. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Amarillo police booked Allen Plumlee on aggravated kidnapping and a third-or-more DWI after a Sunday night crash.
An aggravated-kidnapping booking is an accusation. It is not a conviction. The arrest report says a woman told officers she drove because she feared for her life. That statement is the state's account of the ride. It has not been tested in court.

A Bettendorf credit union employee is charged with taking $28,326.28 from customer accounts, most of them belonging to people who had died.
A theft filing built from account records is an accusation. It is not a finding that every dollar in the complaint moved the way police describe. KWQC reported that one account lost $21,279.51 and that the total across seven accounts was $28,326.28, six of them belonging to people who had died. Those figures are what the charging papers claim.
