Sean Combs was taken from Fort Dix by ambulance early Saturday for a head injury.

TMZ reported that an ambulance left FCI Fort Dix around 1 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, with Sean Combs, 56, for a head injury. He was conscious and speaking when he was brought back before sunrise, TMZ reported. Page Six wrote that he was taken to a hospital. TMZ said it had not confirmed that.

A medical trip out of a federal prison is custody and health care. It is not a new charge and it does not change the 50-month sentence. Sean "Diddy" Combs is already serving that term on two prostitution-transportation counts. TMZ's sources said the head injury was not life-threatening because he was conscious and speaking on the way back. How he was hurt is still not established.

Sources at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey told TMZ that Sean "Diddy" Combs left the prison early Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, for treatment of a head injury. TMZ reported the ambulance pulled out around 1 a.m. and that he was conscious and speaking when he was taken back before sunrise. TMZ wrote that he was presumably taken to a nearby hospital and that the outlet had not confirmed the hospital. Page Six, citing TMZ, reported he was rushed to a nearby hospital for a non-life-threatening head injury and was back before sunrise. He is 56.

TMZ wrote that it is still unclear how he hurt his head. Page Six wrote the same. The Daily Mail's headline described a head injury in a fall. The story under that headline said it is not known how he was hurt, and it credited TMZ for the injury report. The New York Daily News wrote that he suffered the injury in a fall, then wrote that TMZ reported it was not clear how he had hurt his head. A headline that uses the word fall is not a finding that he fell.

Spokesperson Juda Engelmayer told USA TODAY on Monday, Oct. 12, that the team is aware of the reports and working to confirm the circumstances, and that Combs's health is the immediate concern. Page Six and Deadline reported this statement from him: "We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean's health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out." That is a response to the reporting. It is not a medical record and not a description of how he was hurt.

On Tuesday, Oct. 13, TMZ reported a separate account of Combs's prison disciplinary record from Jose Rojas, a union secretary representing Bureau of Prisons employees. Rojas told TMZ he had obtained the history and that it shows fighting write-ups on July 31 and Sept. 30, another major violation on Oct. 1, and two minor phone violations, on July 7 and Sept. 19, 2025. Rojas told TMZ that Combs lost 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges, and that the record could label him a disruptive inmate eligible for transfer. Rojas said that transfer has not happened. Those are a union official's descriptions to TMZ. They are prison discipline. They are not new criminal charges.

Combs was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and sentenced to 50 months. He was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking. Crime Talk Network reported last week that Bureau of Prisons records reviewed by Page Six moved his projected release from Jan. 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028. A projected date is an administrative calculation. TMZ also reported he had been placed in the Special Housing Unit amid earlier claims about his conditions at Fort Dix. This ambulance trip does not add a count to the judgment he is already serving. If a prison inquiry later produces an allegation about how he was hurt, that allegation would still have to be proved. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Selma Blair on a red carpet

A Queens judge arraigned Selma Blair on two counts of second-degree assault and set bail at $20,000 cash.

An arraignment and a bail order are the court event. TMZ says it was unclear whether she entered a plea. Page Six says she pleaded not guilty and was released. Those accounts do not match. Neither one is a finding that she kicked an officer or a nurse. A source told ABC News she was issued a federal violation notice for the flight. That notice is a separate summons from the two state counts. Jan. 19, 2027, is the next state date those outlets reported.

Oakland police arrested a Richmond woman after Mackayla Paige was fatally shot on 14th Street.

An arrest after a fatal shooting is custody. It is not a complaint, and the Monday accounts still do not give the arrested woman's name or a motive. The Chronicle set Sunday's shooting beside last weekend's Warfield killing after a Zeus Network Baddies production and said circumstances and motives in both were still being investigated. That sentence does not make the two cases one case.

Russell Brand arriving at Southwark Crown Court

Jury selection began Monday in Russell Brand's rape and sexual-assault trial at Southwark Crown Court.

Jury selection is the start of the trial. It is not a verdict. The BBC and the Press Association agree that six women are involved, that he denies the charges, and that the judge told jurors the case should take about six weeks. The BBC says the pool was cut to 20 and that jurors might be needed until Dec. 11. The Press Association says six panel members who remembered 2023 coverage were dismissed, and it does not give Dec. 11. The BBC calls his wife Laura. The Press Association calls her Laura Gallacher.
