Sean Combs was moved from FCI Fort Dix to a low-security federal prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

The Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Sean "Diddy" Combs was transferred out of FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, to FCI Allenwood Low in Pennsylvania, TMZ, NBC News, The Associated Press and the BBC reported. The agency did not give a reason.

A prison transfer is a custody decision by the Bureau of Prisons. It is not a new charge, and it does not change his 50-month sentence. Allenwood Low carries the same low-security level as Fort Dix, so the move is lateral, not a step up in security. The BOP has not said why it happened.

Sean "Diddy" Combs left FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey on the morning of Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, and is now at the Federal Correctional Institution in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, a low-security prison, TMZ reported. The Bureau of Prisons confirmed the transfer to TMZ. NBC News, The Associated Press and the BBC also reported the move to FCI Allenwood Low. The agency declined to explain the reason, citing privacy, safety and security.

The move comes six days after TMZ reported that an ambulance took Combs from Fort Dix early Saturday, Oct. 10, for treatment of a head injury. TMZ reported that Friday's transfer followed that medical emergency. The Bureau of Prisons did not tie the two together or give any reason for the move, and how he was hurt has not been publicly established.

TMZ has also reported that Combs was written up multiple times at Fort Dix for phone violations and fights and was twice placed in the Special Housing Unit. Its sources said he lost 41 days of good-time credit and 400 days of commissary privileges. NBC News previously reported allegations that he had a contraband cellphone, alcohol, massages and special meals at Fort Dix. Those are prison-discipline records and press accounts. They are not new criminal charges, and his representative has said ordinary prison life is being cast as news.

TMZ noted that Allenwood Low has the same security level as Fort Dix, which suggests the move was not a disciplinary step up to a higher-security facility. Fort Dix holds about 4,000 inmates and Allenwood about 1,000, TMZ reported, and the outlet suggested the smaller population could make him easier for staff to watch and protect. That is the outlet's read. The Bureau of Prisons has not said so.

Combs was convicted in 2025 on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution under the Mann Act and sentenced to 50 months. He was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking, and his representative has said he is awaiting a decision on his appeal. The transfer does not change that judgment or his sentence. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

"Training Day" actress Charlotte Ayanna faces misdemeanor battery and elder abuse charges after a West Hollywood arrest.

The arrest booking and the charges filed are two different things here. Deputies booked Ayanna on suspicion of criminal threats, elder abuse, battery on a peace officer and depositing human remains outside a cemetery, but prosecutors filed only three misdemeanors: battery, elder or dependent adult abuse, and battery on a peace officer. Ayanna told TMZ the arrest was false and illegal, and the case will be decided in court.

Auckland police upgraded actor Cliff Curtis's drink-driving case to a charge of causing injury.

Thursday's upgraded count is a charging decision. It is not a conviction, and Curtis has not pleaded. 1News reported the alleged reading sits above New Zealand's 80-milligram criminal threshold for an adult driver. His public apology is his statement. It is not a guilty plea entered in court.

A federal judge sentenced Andrew Aiyar to four years for online threats to kill Matt Walsh's wife and children.

A sentence after a guilty plea is the court's judgment on a count the defendant already admitted. It is not a new accusation. Aiyar admitted sending interstate threats. Four years is close to the five-year statutory maximum for that count. The threats were posted publicly, and the government quoted them in its release.
