Panebianco was sentenced to 25 years for first-degree manslaughter.

On Tuesday, Sept. 22, in Suffolk County, Victor Panebianco, 33, of King, North Carolina, was sentenced to 25 years and five years of post-release supervision for first-degree manslaughter, a class B felony, in the Nov. 10, 2025 death of Christopher Millwater, 52, at the Stony Brook Yacht Club. The sentence follows an Aug. 11 plea and is not a murder verdict, and Corso's Wednesday date is still ahead.

A sentence after a guilty plea is the judgment on the manslaughter count he admitted. It is not a murder verdict, and a co-defendant’s expected date is not this judgment. On Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, Victor Panebianco, 33, of King, North Carolina, was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty Aug. 11 to manslaughter in the first degree, a class B felony, before Supreme Court Justice Timothy P. Mazzei. Kacy Corso’s expected seven years on Wednesday is her scheduled expectation, not a sentence entered today.

The victim is Christopher Millwater, 52. He was killed Nov. 10, 2025, in the parking lot of the Stony Brook Yacht Club in Suffolk County, on Long Island. Per the Suffolk County District Attorney and the admissions in court, Millwater arrived around 3:40 to 3:42 a.m. Panebianco and co-defendant Kacy Corso, 33, were waiting. Millwater tried to drive out. Corso crashed into his car and trapped him. He fled on foot. Surveillance, as described in those admissions, showed Panebianco chasing him while swinging a knife and stabbing him twice in the chest. Millwater died. The pair fled to North Carolina. That is the conduct behind the Aug. 11 plea. It is not a murder verdict returned on Tuesday.

Panebianco was arrested Nov. 19, 2025, in North Carolina, with help from the Stokes County Sheriff. Corso was later arrested in Suffolk. She pleaded guilty July 22, 2026, to first-degree manslaughter and is expected to be sentenced Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, to seven years. As of Tuesday’s sentencing, that seven-year figure is what is expected for her. It is not a judgment the court has imposed on her, and it is not a term in Panebianco’s sentence. District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney said the court imposed the maximum sentence his office requested and called the killing brutal. The New York Post reported Panebianco’s age as 32. The District Attorney's figure is 33. Five years of post-release supervision follows the 25 years. Supervision is part of his sentence. It is not a second case. Co-defendant Kacy Corso had not been sentenced, and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuscaloosa police charged Daronte Collins with felony murder after a Saturday apartment-complex shooting.

WBRC's jail photo is captioned Daronte Collins and puts both men at 22. The Tuscaloosa Thread, citing Violent Crimes Unit Lt. Michael Hall, spells the charged man Deronte and puts both at 20. Patch and the Calhoun Journal also use Daronte and 20. A felony-murder count, which the Thread and the Journal describe as Alabama's rule when someone dies during a robbery, is not a finding that Collins fired the shot that killed Tyson. The Thread says the 25-year-old has not been charged.

High Point police charged Kymberli Bowden with first-degree murder in her 13-year-old daughter's death.

The Oct. 8 release is a new murder count on a case the department charged in 2025 as felony child abuse and concealment of death. It is not a trial. The murder-charge release says she remains in jail with no bond. WXII reported a violent-offense hold and a $1 million bond on the older counts. The 2025 release listed her age as 44. The murder-charge release, WXII, and FOX 35 Orlando list 45.

Chicago police charged Chevazz Campbell in the stabbing death of CTA janitor Julian Mobley.

A detention hearing is the first court date. It is not a finding that Campbell stabbed anyone. The department's Sunday release says he robbed and fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in the 2000 block of West Lake Street. ABC7 and CBS Chicago name that man as Julian Mobley and describe a fare dispute that turned into a stabbing. The department's charge list and CBS Chicago's shorter summary do not match count for count.
