Friday's arrest is the fourth name FOX 5 Atlanta and CBS Atlanta put on this case. Brian Wingo, Charles Lewis and Ky-Mani Goodings were already booked on murder and armed robbery after a Cobb County chase the morning of the shooting. Bryant's warrants are charges. They are not a finding that he fired the shots, and the man who died has not been named by either station.

Judge Phaedra Perry-Bond ruled the Cornell plaintiff may keep proceeding as Jane Doe.

Friday's order is about the name on the civil caption. It does not decide whether the allegations are true, and it does not file a criminal charge. CBS News reported the judge invited a request to extend anonymity to the defendants. That invitation does not take their names off the docket until a judge signs an order that does.

Dennis Arguello-Acosta pleaded guilty in the hit-and-run death of Fort Bend County Deputy Kenneth Lewis and received 12 years.

A guilty plea to failure to stop and render aid is the conviction on that count. Twelve years is the term FOX 26 reported he agreed to. It is not a murder plea. The station's Friday account does not say whether the tampering count Houston police announced in March was part of the deal, dismissed, or still open.

CBS Detroit reported Breylon Roberts pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the killing of his brother.

Friday's not-guilty plea is what CBS Detroit reported from court. The Oakland Press described the next date as a probable cause conference and did not print the plea. C&G Newspapers reported he asked for a court-appointed lawyer who had not been assigned as of Friday. The murder count is still pending. Nov. 5 is a calendar date, not a trial.
