A wanted notice is an accusation and a search. It is not an arrest and it is not a conviction. Darkhorse Press, citing the sheriff's office, said Pitcock is believed to be armed with knives. The office said no further details of the alleged assault have been released.

Darkhorse Press reported that the sheriff's office posted on Facebook that Pitcock is still at large and is believed to be armed with knives. He was last seen in the Pine Lake area of Cole's Point wearing a pink shirt and blue shorts. The office asked anyone who sees him not to approach and to call 911. Darkhorse Press reported that no additional details about the alleged assault, or about the circumstances of the search, have been released.

As of that Tuesday report, deputies had not announced an arrest. A wanted notice is not a finding that he committed the assault. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
