Beavercreek police charged Ashley Quinn Morgan in the shooting death of Sean Thomas Reagan.

The Dayton Daily News and WHIO reported Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, that Ashley Quinn Morgan, 41, is jailed on a $1.5 million bond after Sean Thomas Reagan, 41, was found dead at a Beavercreek home early Saturday. The paper says Fairborn Municipal Court has two murder counts, plus voluntary manslaughter and felonious assault. The Greene County sheriff's roster lists one murder charge, not two.

A murder charge is the accusation. It is not a finding that she shot him, and a 911 recording is not a plea. The news counts and the jail roster do not match. The Dayton Daily News puts the next date at a preliminary hearing on Thursday, Oct. 29. That hearing is not a trial.

The Dayton Daily News reported Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026, that Ashley Quinn Morgan, 41, was booked around 8:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, into the Greene County Jail and is held on a $1.5 million bond after Beavercreek police arrested her at a residence in the 100 block of South Alpha Bellbrook Road. The paper reported she was charged Monday, Oct. 26, in Fairborn Municipal Court with two counts of murder and one count each of voluntary manslaughter and felonious assault, that she was arraigned by video Monday from the jail, and that court records put the next date at Thursday, Oct. 29, for a preliminary hearing. WHIO, in a story timestamped 6:34 p.m. EDT Tuesday, reported she is accused of shooting and killing her boyfriend, that officers responded around 2:25 a.m. Oct. 24 to the 100 block of South Alpha Bellbrook Drive, and that she was charged with two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault, and one count of voluntary manslaughter. WDTN reported the same block as South Alpha Bellbrook Drive, the same four counts, the same $1.5 million bond, and that she is expected in court Thursday. Road, in the Dayton Daily News, and Drive, in WHIO and WDTN, are not the same street word. Two murder counts, in all three news accounts, are the charges those outlets printed.

The Greene County Sheriff's Office inmate roster does not print two murder counts. The public record for Ashley Quinn Morgan, inmate 251676, lists three charge lines: Ohio Revised Code 2903.02, a first-degree felony, described as murder; 2903.11, a second-degree felony, described as felonious assault, aggravated; and 2903.03, a first-degree felony, described as voluntary manslaughter. The roster's booked time is 12:23:00 p.m. EDT on Oct. 24, 2026. The Dayton Daily News reported a booking around 8:40 a.m. that Saturday. Those clocks do not match. The roster's custody-status time is 11:06:32 a.m. EDT on Oct. 26, and the status is in custody. The roster does not print a bond, a court, or a plea. One murder statute on the roster and two murder counts in the news stories are not the same charging paper. The counts are what she is accused of. They are not a conviction.

WHIO reported the 911 caller was Ashley Quinn Morgan and that she told dispatchers she had shot Reagan. WHIO reported the call includes, "I just shot my significant other; he's been threatening me all night," and, after the dispatcher asked if he was breathing, "No, he's dead ... I just aimed, and I shot." WHIO reported she told dispatchers he also had a gun and was threatening to kill himself and her, and quoted her: "He was threatening suicide; he was threatening to take us both out." The Dayton Daily News reported the 911 caller said she shot her significant other and did not print those lines. What a 911 recording contains is evidence a prosecutor may offer. It is not a plea entered in Fairborn Municipal Court. Both outlets reported Reagan, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene. WHIO reported two children, ages 3 and 5, were in the home and did not witness the shooting, according to the Beavercreek Police Department. WDTN reported two children were in the home, did not witness it, and were released to family members. The children are not named. The Dayton Daily News did not mention them. WDTN reported the investigation remains ongoing. No story in this account reports a lawyer for Morgan or a not-guilty plea. Thursday's preliminary hearing, in the Dayton Daily News account of the court records, is the next date. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Lakeland police charged boxer Edgar Berlanga with aggravated battery after an Oct. 18 argument in Polk County.

The two counts are charges from an Oct. 18 allegation. BoxingScene has the charge titles, the bail, and the arraignment time. The New York Post has the affidavit's account of a pistol and a woman who got away to a 7-Eleven. An affidavit is not a conviction. She is not named here.

An FBI agent fatally shot Chadwick Clark during a Dixmoor warrant operation, and the FBI says the shooting is under review.

The FBI account is an agent-involved shooting, one person dead, no agent hurt, and an internal review. The family's account that Clark was unarmed, and a police source's count of people in custody, are not in the FBI statement. A review is not a charge.

Chief Judge Leigh Martin May sentenced Edwin Brant Frost IV to 15 years in the First Liberty fraud.

Monday's term is the sentence on a guilty plea to one count of wire fraud. It is not a jury verdict. The U.S. Attorney's Office, FOX 5 Atlanta, and The Citizen print the same restitution figure. The Newnan Times-Herald prints a figure that is fifty dollars lower.
