Police arrested a 25-year-old after Christopher Williams and Demetrius Pride were killed on Cleveland's East 120th Street.
WKYC and WOIO reported Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, that Williams, 34, and Pride, 28, were found Sunday evening in the 4100 block of East 120th Street, and that a 25-year-old was arrested in Akron. WOIO said his name has not been released. FOX 8 swapped which man died at the scene and called Williams 24.

WKYC and WOIO put Williams at 34, in the street, and dead after he reached a hospital, and Pride at 28, dead on a porch. FOX 8 prints the reverse and a different age for Williams. All three say the arrested man is 25. WOIO says his name is not public. FOX 8 says he has not been charged. An unnamed arrest is not an identification.
WKYC and WOIO reported Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, that two men were killed Sunday evening in the 4100 block of East 120th Street. WOIO reported the block is in the Union Miles neighborhood and that Cleveland police were called around 6 p.m. for shots fired and a person down in the street. WKYC reported Fourth District officers responded to shots fired around 6 p.m. Oct. 25. WOIO reported Christopher Williams, 34, of Cleveland, was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds, that officers gave first aid until EMS took him to University Hospitals, and that he was pronounced dead there. It reported Demetrius Pride, 28, of Cleveland, was found on the front porch of a home, also with gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene. WKYC reported a 34-year-old man was found in the street with multiple apparent gunshot wounds, that officers gave first aid until Cleveland EMS arrived, and that he was taken to a hospital and later died. It reported a 28-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds on a front porch and that Cleveland EMS pronounced him dead there. WKYC reported the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victims as Christopher Williams, 34, and Demetrius W. Pride, 28, both of Cleveland.
FOX 8 reported the locations, and one age, differently. It reported the man found in the road was 28-year-old Demetrius Pride of Cleveland, that he was taken to the hospital, and that he was pronounced dead. It reported the other man, found shot on a nearby front porch, was 24-year-old Christopher Williams of Cleveland and was declared dead at the scene. WKYC and WOIO both put Williams at 34, in the street, and dead after he reached a hospital, and both put Pride at 28 and dead at the scene. FOX 8's account swaps that pairing and prints a different age for Williams.
The arrest is where the three accounts sit closer together. WKYC reported Cleveland police said detectives used the department's Real Time Crime Center and automated license plate readers, determined a potential suspect had left Cleveland and was possibly in Akron, and that a 25-year-old man was arrested within hours with the Summit County Sheriff's Office and the Akron Police Department. WOIO reported detectives used the Real Time Crime Center and automated license plate readers to track the suspect, and that several hours after the killings a 25-year-old man was arrested in Akron with help from Akron police and Summit County sheriff's deputies. WOIO reported his name has not been released and that a motive has not been released. FOX 8 reported police identified a potential suspect they thought could have fled to Akron, that he was taken into custody hours later with Akron police and the Summit County Sheriff's Office, and that the suspect has not been charged. None of the three stories names him.
FOX 8's same story also reported a separate Saturday killing. It reported officers were called to the 10900 block of Fidelity Avenue around 9:15 p.m. Oct. 24, found Delonzo Pennington, 33, of Cleveland, with gunshot wounds, and that he was pronounced dead at the scene. It reported police have not released any suspect information in that shooting. That is not the East 120th case. An arrest there, and FOX 8's report that no charge has been filed in it, are not a finding about who fired. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Lakeland police charged boxer Edgar Berlanga with aggravated battery after an Oct. 18 argument in Polk County.
The two counts are charges from an Oct. 18 allegation. BoxingScene has the charge titles, the bail, and the arraignment time. The New York Post has the affidavit's account of a pistol and a woman who got away to a 7-Eleven. An affidavit is not a conviction. She is not named here.

An FBI agent fatally shot Chadwick Clark during a Dixmoor warrant operation, and the FBI says the shooting is under review.
The FBI account is an agent-involved shooting, one person dead, no agent hurt, and an internal review. The family's account that Clark was unarmed, and a police source's count of people in custody, are not in the FBI statement. A review is not a charge.

Chief Judge Leigh Martin May sentenced Edwin Brant Frost IV to 15 years in the First Liberty fraud.
Monday's term is the sentence on a guilty plea to one count of wire fraud. It is not a jury verdict. The U.S. Attorney's Office, FOX 5 Atlanta, and The Citizen print the same restitution figure. The Newnan Times-Herald prints a figure that is fifty dollars lower.
