Buckeye police arrested Zarian Dyer after they say he and Adrian Ayala planned an attack on Dyer's fiancée.
FOX 10 Phoenix reported that Zarian Dyer, 23, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, on aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping, and conspiracy, after police say he agreed online with Adrian Ayala, 20, to attack Dyer's fiancée at a Buckeye home on Oct. 16. AZFamily's account of the same booking listed eight charges and used the words sexual assault, not attempted sexual assault. 12News reported a $500,000 bond and Reddit messages in the court records. The woman is not named here.

Attempted sexual assault, which FOX 10 and ABC15 printed, and sexual assault, which AZFamily printed, are not the same charge. A list of five counts and a booking AZFamily called eight charges are not the same count. The $500,000 bond 12News and AZFamily reported is a release condition set at an initial appearance. It is not a conviction, and Ayala's arrest on Oct. 17 is not Dyer's arrest on Oct. 29.
FOX 10 Phoenix, by Nicole Krasean and Jessica Johnson, published Oct. 29, 2026, at 3:37 p.m. MST and updated Oct. 30 at 6:45 a.m. MST, reported that Buckeye police arrested the fiancé of a woman who was attacked in her home, and quoted Carissa Planalp of the Buckeye Police Department from an Oct. 29 release. FOX 10 reported the attack was Oct. 16 at about 6 p.m. at a home near Southern Avenue and Miller Road, that an unknown man walked in and attacked her, and that she fought him off before police arrived. It reported the next day police identified 20-year-old Adrian Ayala of Goodyear and arrested him at his home. It reported Ayala told investigators he went to the home after meeting her fiancé online and entering an agreement to sexually assault her. It reported police seized his devices and the phone of 23-year-old Zarian Dyer and found communications about the planned assault. It reported the motive is unknown. ABC15 reported the same date, the same intersection, the same two names and ages, Ayala's arrest the following day in Goodyear, and the same account of an online agreement. ABC15's copy said the motive "is known at this time." FOX 10 and Planalp said the motive is unknown. Known and unknown are not the same word. AZFamily, by Mitchell Koch, Zach Prelutsky, and Alexis Cortez, published Oct. 29 at 3:48 p.m. MST, reported Dyer was arrested Thursday morning at work near Roosevelt Street and Verrado Way, and that Ayala was arrested Oct. 17. FOX 10 put Dyer's arrest on Thursday, Oct. 29, at that same workplace. Thursday and Oct. 29 are the same day. Oct. 17, the date those outlets give for Ayala, is not Oct. 29.
The charge stack is not one list. FOX 10 reported Dyer is accused of aggravated assault, sexual abuse, attempted sexual assault, kidnapping, and conspiracy. ABC15 reported those same five, with the words attempted sexual assault. AZFamily reported he was booked on eight charges including aggravated assault, sexual abuse, sexual assault, kidnapping, and conspiracy, and that his bond was set at $500,000. 12News, published Oct. 30, 2026, at 11:44 a.m. PDT and updated at 2:08 p.m. PDT, reported several criminal charges and a $500,000 bond, and did not name the five counts. Eight charges, which AZFamily printed, and five named counts, which FOX 10 printed, are not the same number. Sexual assault, which AZFamily printed, and attempted sexual assault, which FOX 10 and ABC15 printed, are not the same offense. 12News spelled the woman as Dyer's fiancé. FOX 10, ABC15, and AZFamily used fiancée. Those are not the same word for the same relationship. FOX 10 reported that at Dyer's initial appearance, which it placed in Maricopa County Superior Court, prosecutors said evidence on Ayala's phone showed the two were working together, and that Dyer wanted Ayala to FaceTime him during the assault. AZFamily reported a prosecutor alleged Dyer encouraged Ayala to go to the house, where his fiancée would be "alone and unsuspecting," and instructed Ayala to sexually assault her and FaceTime him. Alone and unsuspecting is AZFamily's account of the prosecutor. It is not a line FOX 10 printed. FOX 10 reported Ayala's attorney said Ayala was invited over by her partner as part of a roleplay scenario. A defense description of roleplay and a police account of an agreement to assault her are not the same account of consent. AZFamily reported she denied consenting.
12News reported court records of Reddit messages received by Ayala's account on the day of the attack, some of them later deleted, from an account seeking somebody to assault his wife forcefully. Wife, in that message as 12News described it, and fiancée, in the police release, are not the same relationship. 12News reported that when Ayala's account asked if the woman was "in on" the plan, the other account answered, "Nope." It reported a message to Ayala's account: "You can't tell her I told you or sent you either you just gotta do it I understand if it's too much." It reported Ayala's account asked if they would get in trouble and the other account suggested they "run to your car and leave and we can pretend this didn't happen." It reported Ayala's account first wrote that they had to back out because they were not comfortable if she was not into it, and that the other account replied, "the more you threaten her the more she'll get into it..." Those lines are 12News's account of the records. They are not a verdict. 12News reported that about 5 p.m. Ayala's account was told to get there faster because the writer was trying to fake killing time at a nearby grocery store. It reported Dyer told officers he had gone to the store for groceries and gas. It reported Fry's video on Miller Road, as described in the court records, showed him entering about 5:30 p.m., walking around, and leaving about 10 minutes later without buying anything. It reported that by 5:45 p.m. he was at the gas pumps, and that a message at 5:49 p.m. said, "I'm getting gas. Not far. But trynna take my time." It reported a 5:57 p.m. message, "times up bro," and an instruction to run away "when she gets bad." It reported that at 6:04 p.m. Ayala's account wrote "I'm so sorry," and the other account wrote that it was deleting the account and that he should too. A grocery trip Dyer described to officers and a store video 12News said shows no purchase are not the same errand.
AZFamily, citing court paperwork, reported Dyer told police the messages were disgusting and that he denied being involved, and that home video showed him sitting in his car for 44 seconds before he chased Ayala. 12News reported he continually denied orchestrating the incident after investigators showed him the messages. A denial in a police interview is not a finding. AZFamily reported detectives said Dyer installed the Reddit app and uninstalled it the day of the attack, and that messages attributed to him included "Are you down?" and a line that he had given "consent" because "I own her and her body." Those sentences are AZFamily's account of the paperwork. FOX 10 did not print them. FOX 10 quoted Planalp: "This was a terrifying ordeal for them. For this woman and her young children." It quoted her saying the woman gave police a description of the suspect vehicle and a partial plate. Planalp told FOX 10 investigators are still looking for a motive and that the evidence suggests the woman did not know about the plan. A partial plate is a lead. It is not an identification by itself. Ayala's Oct. 17 arrest and Dyer's Oct. 29 arrest are two bookings. The counts are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Volusia deputies jailed Allison Albro on written-threat charges before Trump's Ocean Center rally.
Two counts are in the charging language the outlets use: a written threat, and a communications-device count. WESH's 6:09 p.m. EDT account is that a judge is holding her on no bond after a pretrial-detention motion. Law & Crime's 1:02 p.m. account was a $2,500 bond and a first appearance still ahead. Those are not the same detention status. A holding order in a new case is not a finding that the post was a threat rather than the joke she described, and it is not a sentence.

Judge Trevor McFadden took James Comey's motion to dismiss the Espionage Act information under advisement.
An information is a prosecutor's charging document. It is not a grand-jury indictment, and it is not a conviction. McFadden did not grant or deny the motion on Friday. The fight is whether filing that information on the last day of a 10-year limitations period lets the government keep seeking an indictment, and the two accounts do not print the same thing about whether prosecutors are in front of a grand jury now.

A Fifth Circuit committee ordered Judge Ada Brown to a psychiatric exam, and the council reassigned her docket.
The Sept. 29 order is an administrative reassignment under 28 U.S.C. § 332(d). It is not a medical diagnosis, and the order says it is separate from whatever the council does when the committee files its report. Judge Haynes abstained, and Chief Judge Debra Brown voted no on procedural grounds. Bloomberg Law, the ABA Journal, and Fox News identify the lawyer in the redacted hearing item as Ezra Young.
